facts about nobita and doremon

I am a big fan of Doraemon. Even as a grown up, I used to watch Doraemon whenever I can during weekday mornings. If I remember correctly, they aired it on GMA 7.

When I visited Tokyo, going to the Doraemon Museum was on top of my bucket list. I was able to do this and it’s actually a funny experience because almost everyone else touring the museum are pre-schoolers. Well, I’m a kid at heart. 🙂

I guess what I like about Doraemon (aside from being a cute robot-cat from the future and we look alike LOL) is the pocket where quirky

. Doraemon is a factory-rejected toy

We all know that Doraemon is robot from the future who was sent to alter (actually, improve) the fate of the Nobi family by helping Nobita. He was sent by Nobita’s great great grandson, Sewashi, to protect Nobita. However, due to his small allowance, Sewashi was only able to afford a factory-rejected robot.

Nobita, a pivotal character from Doraemon, married his childhood sweetheart Shizuka in the new film Stand by Me Doraemon 2. The internet is elated about it and celebrated with emotional posts.

When was Doraemon made?

Unlike Hello Kitty, Doraemon is definitely a cat, but why doesn't he have ears?

The robot came with cat ears and was painted yellow when it was first manufactured at the factory on Sept 3, 2112, and his production code was MS-903.

Who is Doraemon's creator?

Doraemon is the creation of Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. The duo were known by their pen name Fujiko Fujio. They drew many manga together from 1951 till 1987 when they split.

The idea for Doraemon came about from a trio of incidents that happened to Fujimoto: He had tripped over his daughter's toy; he heard a neighbourhood cat fight; and he had been wishing for a machine to help him come up with a new manga concept, according to various accounts.

Doraemon's Final Episode

The Doraemon franchise, being a manga long-runner, doesn't seem to have a solid ending. Especially more so with the passing of series creator Fujio F. Fujiko (the half of the Fujiko Fujio behind the series) in 1996, before the series itself have anything close to a conclusion. At some point after Fujiko's death, a Doraemon comic - one which doesn't appear in any of it's publications - started circulating online, rumored to be the "actual" final Doraemon manga and a Lost Episode tucked somewhere in Fujiko's archives.

Will there be Stand By Me Doraemon 3?

Stand by Me Doraemon 3 is the sequel of Stand by Me Doraemon 2 and the final installment of the Stand by Me Doraemon trilogy. This film also includes segments of "Nobita's Bride" and "Nobita's Son Has Ran Away".
